Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad Orientation
Congrats on your acceptance to the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad. Prior to starting your first shift, please ensure you have completed the required forms, including the physical form and beneficiary designation form, submitted the $50 uniform deposit, and successfully completed a BLS class. We also require all new members (ages 18+) to complete a background check. We look forward to having you on the squad!

Uniform Deposit
Please click the link below to submit the $50.00 uniform deposit. You will receive one (1) short-sleeve polo shirt as well as one (1) long-sleeve polo shirt. Members are responsible for obtaining navy EMS/cargo pants as well as black tactical boots. WVRS recommends new members visit Fit-Rite Uniforms – located at 657 Chestnut Street, Union, NJ 07083 – to obtain pants/boots.

Note: WVRS only requires all members, aged 18 and older, to obtain a background check. WVRS covers the cost of the background check: a coupon code that must be provided at the in-person appointment will be emailed prior to orientation.
